James Mangold Sr. founded this agency in Burlington in 1933 — during the Depression, on a handshake, with a belief that people in this community deserved a real independent insurance partner. His son, and then his grandchildren Jim Mangold and Laurie Weinhammer, carried that forward for three generations. In 2026, Stephen Quist became the fourth-generation leader of the agency.
